Cainscross, beside Stroud
Cainscross is a suburban town and civil parish in Gloucestershire. The parish takes in Ebley, Cashes Green and Cainscross itself, plus part of Dudbridge.
Cainscross borders Stroud and forms part of the Stroud urban area. Stroud town centre lies about 1.6 miles to the east. Meanwhile, the Stroudwater Canal runs immediately to the south, and so does Selsley Common.
