Servicing in a cathedral city
Salisbury is a cathedral city in south-east Wiltshire, where the rivers Avon, Nadder and Bourne meet. Its cathedral spire, at 123 metres, is the tallest in the UK. The Cathedral Close is ringed by a 14th-century wall with several gates. As a result, homes in and around the Close often have little room around an outdoor unit.

Bemerton Heath, in contrast, is a council estate on the north-western edge of the city. Homes there usually give an engineer simpler access than the centre does. Meanwhile, the A36 forms an almost complete ring road around the city centre.
